Discovery Divers are pioneers of scuba diving from Koh Samui. We were the first operator to transition from the large, slow boats taking almost 3 hours one way to Koh Tao, to the modern speedboats which now take only 60–90 minutes to reach the main dive sites. We were also one of the first dive schools to introduce small group ratios with a maximum of 4 divers per group

Discovery Divers has been operating for over 26 years now in Koh Samui at the Amari Resort, and is well known for its customer service and flawless safety record over those 26 years. Discovery Divers is owned and operated by Eric Vinik, who is a PADI Master Scuba Diver Trainer and Emergency First Response Instructor.

We organize regular scuba diving trips from Koh Samui to some of Thailand’s most famous dive sites. We are open from 11:00 am to 18:00 daily, and are only closed on January 1st and April 13th of each year, so you can enjoy relaxed, safe and unforgettable underwater experiences.

Our dive center uses well-maintained modern scuba diving equipment and follows strict safety procedures on all dive trips and PADI courses. All divers are fully insured under the PADI Asia Pacific dive insurance program, ensuring peace of mind for beginners and certified divers alike.
For certified divers, we have multiple daily trips to the top sites in Thailand and are usually able to fill your request for a special site also. We have access to the most boats in Samui so you can choose which site you want to go, and on what day. Our staff have been leading dives in the Koh Samui area for years, we can show you the best of each site.
