Explore our diving gallery and discover the marine life of Koh Samui, from colorful coral reefs to tropical fish and macro creatures captured on our scuba dives.

Scuba diving in Koh Samui offers the chance to explore a rich and diverse marine ecosystem in the warm waters of the Gulf of Thailand. From colorful coral reefs to large pelagic species, the region is home to an impressive variety of marine life that makes every dive unique. Thanks to year-round diving conditions and access to famous offshore sites, divers can experience both macro marine life and large schooling fish within the same region.
The coral reefs around Koh Samui and Koh Tao are home to countless species of tropical reef fish, including angelfish, butterflyfish, parrotfish, bannerfish, and clownfish. Healthy hard and soft corals provide shelter for reef creatures and create vibrant underwater landscapes ideal for relaxed fun dives and underwater photography.
At deeper offshore dive sites such as Sail Rock and Chumphon Pinnacle, divers may encounter schools of barracuda, trevally, tuna, and batfish. During the right season, lucky divers may even spot whale sharks, the gentle giants of the ocean, passing through the Gulf of Thailand.
For those who enjoy looking closer, the region is also rich in macro marine life. Nudibranchs, shrimp, crabs, moray eels, cuttlefish, and seahorses can often be found hiding among the reefs and rocky formations. These small creatures make Koh Samui an excellent destination for macro diving and underwater photography.
